Find the Perfect Festival Tent!

With only 5 days left until the line-up of V fest is announced, and 45 days until Tomorrowland tickets become available, I am definitely in the festival frame of mind!

I have been thinking about the festival essentials, and decided that if you’re heading to a festival this summer, the most important thing you’re going to need (apart from dry shampoo and wet wipes) is obviously, a TENT!

If you’re like most of us and are too lazy to search through websites to try and find the best and cheapest tent, you’re lucky, because I’ve done it for you!

Right through from two person to four, I’ve picked my favorite tents to share with you! People may think tents and camping are boring, but that’s not true. Camping is fun, and with the tents I’ve chosen, it can be pretty fashionable too!

Firstly are the two people tents. I’ve chosen the pop-up style tent, as this is probably the best option when going to a festival, as it’s quick, easy, and allows you to have more fun, instead of standing around a set of poles trying to put a tent up.  Likewise, pop-up tents are perfect for those of you who are festival-ing abroad this year, as they are easy to carry around, making them handy for flights and long journeys.

This first tent is the pop-up style I mentioned, and has a lovely camouflage/floral design on it! This tent can be purchased from Gelert  This tent is a bargain at £39.99!

As a self confessed lover of floral, this is definitely my favourite tent! Yet again, I think this would definitely stand out amongst the other tents, as long as everyone doesn’t have the same idea! This is lightweight, and comes with a bag which makes it perfect for festivals. This is £49.00 and from Argos.

The last one of my two person picks is mainly aimed at the boys, as I don’t think the floral ones would be their first choice! This isn’t a pop-up, but only takes 15 minutes to put up (approx.), and comes with a groundsheet in the porch and a sewn in living area groundsheet! This is currently on offer in Argos, reduced from £74.99 to £47.99!

Now for the three person tents! I have again, tried to find pop-up tents as I think these are much more logical for festivals- especially when you’re drunk or tired, putting up a tent, or taking it down for that matter, needs to be as easy as possible! However, some of them are ones you have to assemble yourself, but are still pretty easy too!

This tent is a pop-up and three person, yay! I love the bubble design on this; it definitely makes the whole camping experience more amusing! This comes with a handy travel bag, and costs £49.00 from Argos.

This very girly tent unfortunately is not pop-up, but isn’t too big so wouldn’t take that long to put up! Once again this is from Argos, and costs £49.00.

Another non pop-up, but very brightly coloured tent! This is very high quality and doubled skinned, making sure you’re sheltered from the horrible British weather that usually makes an appearance at festivals! This tent costs £44.99, and can be found at one stop festival

One of my cheaper finds, this tent is indeed pop-up, three man, and only £18.99! It is extremely light, and as it pop-ups easily, it leaves more time for festival frolicking! This can be found at Amazon,

Now on to the four person tent! Finding pop-up versions of these can be pretty tricky, as well as the fact the bigger the tent, the pricier they can be, but fear not, as I have found some brilliant bargains for you!

This is a very spacious four person tent, and much to my delight, a pop-up! This tent can be put away in just 15 seconds (after much practice I assume), but nevertheless, still pretty amazing! It also has a tiny bit of storage space under the fly sheet where you could keep your shoes! This again can be found at Amazon, and is £84! It may seem pretty pricey, but divided by four, it’s hardly anything.

If you want to try something different this summer, I have found a beautiful little tipi! This will obviously be harder to put up compared to the others, but is very stylish, and I personally love it! You can buy this from Argos, and it costs £149.00

I particularly like this four person tent because it has a kind of ‘living area’ in the middle, where, if it was raining, you could all sit there. Likewise, it’s the perfect place to store all your clothes if the bedroom is a bit crowded. This is £89.99, and is from Go Outdoors.

My final pick from the four person tent section, is again from Gelert! This spacious tent is the perfect tent with the perfect price! It’s not pop-up, but pretty simple to put up, and is £74.99

Along with these I have found a very handy website that’s sells all things festival! One Stop Festival sells tents, air beds, festival masks, festival survival kits, sleeping bags and even wellies!

One of my favourite things on their website is the festival survival kit, which is something I will definitely be purchasing this summer! The kit contains waterless shampoo, waterless body wash, 5 pairs of earplugs, hygienic hand rub, a poncho, sun cream, a toothbrush and toothpaste and lip balm, all contained in a handy draw string bag, and for just £14.99! They also do more expensive options which are worth having a look at.

I hope you have found your perfect tent amongst my picks and are as excited for the summer as me!

xoxo Taylor
