Festival Fashion at Missguided!

With your tickets for festivals (hopefully) purchased,exams nearly over and the summer holidays practically here, the only thing you need to worry about is what you’re going to wear this Summer! I have already blogged about festival fashion, but since then, so many more clothes and fashion ideas have stormed the high street and internet, I have found tons more amazing outfits to make you stand out this year!

My focus today: The online shop Missguided!

If you have never shopped at Missguided before, I advise you to, RIGHT NOW! I have been a lover of the online store for a couple of years, as they sell beautiful clothes that are similar to the kind of things you find in Topshop and River Island, but for a fraction of the price! What’s recently made me love the site even more, especially with festival season and summer looming, is their new collection called ‘ Peace and Love’.

Their brand new exclusive collection features shirts, shorts, jeans and lots more, all of which include studs, Aztec prints and denim – so you’ll be right on trend this summer!

Here are a few of my favourite picks from the collection, that will definitely get you get noticed;

Denim Shirt: £24.99             Denim Shorts: £29.99          American Flag Blouse: £23.99

I’m a big lover of the denim shirt (to the extent that I recently held hostage my boyfriends friends denim shirt as it was so beautiful, being Ralph Lauren, but sadly had to hand it back over to him L ), and what better occasion to wear it to than at a festival! It’s practical because you can wear it over a dress to keep you warm if it’s a bit chilly or tucked into skirt/shorts for the perfect festival look. If you’re feeling brave you could even try the double denim look! My favourite piece out of the collection is definitely this American flag shirt! It’s so bold, and out there, and SO CHEAP it would be a crime not to buy it!

Studded Tee £22.99             Tribal Shorts £23.99            Studded Jumper: £24.00

This second trio of outfits are also amongst my list of must haves for this summer! Studs are everywhere right now, even more so because of Rihanna seen sporting them at Coachella, so this t-shirt is just the thing you should be wearing! Not only is it practical to team with jeans or shorts, but just look at the price! Out of all the shorts, these are definitely my favourite! I don’t own a pair of white denim shorts as I have never found them appealing, but I love the tribal design on these, and also the fact you could dress them down at a festival, but add heels and they’re perfect for the night. The third item is just what you need when nighttimes hit the festivals and it gets even colder! Once again the jumper has studded detail on the shoulder, and as it’s lightweight, you’re not going to get too hot and bothered if you decide to wear it in the day!

There are lots more amazing clothes on the website and you can view all of the Peace & Love collection here.

Another item of clothing that is ideal for summer and festivals, and seems to everywhere at the moment are statement leggings!. Topshop and Urban Outfitters have some lovely pairs in at the moment, but if you’re feeling quite poor like me, there’s no need to break the bank, as Missguided have an excellent range full of lovely prints and patterns that everyone can afford! Here is a pick of favourite three;

Galaxy Leggings: £9.99                USA Leggings: £13.99                 Baroque Leggings: £12.99

If you’re not afraid to stand out, all three of these are must haves! I’m loving galaxy print right now, and the colours in the leggings are lovely and summery! Leggings are great for days when it’s sunny and you don’t want to wear jeans, but its not that hot so you can’t go bare legged – and more importantly, they are just what to wear when the weather takes a turn for the worst at a festival, which, lets be honest, is more than likely to happen!

If you have never visited the Missguided website before or have and didn’t really like it, I hope I have turned you! Just look at these leggings, altogether they come to £37, the price of one pair of leggings from other shops on the high street! Why buy one pair, when you can have three!
