The Charlatans announced as V Festival’s Special Guests

With V Festival just a few days away, we weren’t surprised to see that the last minute announcements are coming thick and fast. It’s perhaps one of the best things about the festival countdown – when you think you can’t possibly expect any more announcements to see that another band has added the ranks. Fantastic news for V Festival goers today – The Charlatans have been invited to play at both V Festival sites across this weekend, as very special guests.

The band, who have no fewer than eleven albums within their discography will be hopefully playing some new material too, they’ve been in the recording studios since January recording demo material. We’re massively looking forward to one of the biggest Mancunian band’s set!

In other news – LMFAO are back on the bill after the V Festival Facebook page announced that (despite cancelling due to illness), the artists will be playing at both festival sites as scheduled. However, Dappy has cancelled however due to an appearance in court this week following accusation of affray at a petrol station.

The rest of the weekend is shaping up as follows -
